More about the Transformers movie

One reason I can’t wait to watch the upcoming Transformers movie is that I’m excited to witness the Camaro square off against the Mustang.
Directed by Michael Bay with Steven Spielberg acting as executive producer, Transformers the movie stars:
Shia LaBeouf as Sam Witwicky
Megan Fox as Mikaela, Sam’s love interest
Peter Cullen as the voice of Optimus Prime: Leader of the Autobots
Hugo Weaving as the voice of Megatron: Leader of the Decepticons
Josh Duhamel as Lennox: Captain of a Special Ops team in Qatar
Tyrese Gibson as Epps: a combat controller
Zack Ward as Donnely
John Turturro as Simmons: Head of Sector 7, a secret government group
Keith David as the voice of Barricade: The Decepticon hunter who masquerades as a police car
Jon Voight as Secretary of State Keller
Kevin Dunn as Sparkplug Witwicky: Sam’s father
Julia White as Mrs. Witwicky
Rachael Taylor as Maggie
Bernie Mac as Bobby Bolivia
Travis Van Winkle as Trent
Anthony Anderson as Glenn Ross Dygert
Glenn Morshower as Colonel
No Angelina Jolie or George Clooney there, but this is a robot flick after all. You wouldn’t want to spend all the time in the movie wondering where Ms. Jolie is underneath all those sheetmetal would you? It would be no doubt easier to see beautiful Ms. Jolie replacing her car’s Mercedes shocks in her heels, in the middle of traffic – in another movie.
Now back to the Transformers movie. As to the battle, Camaro will be played by Bumblebee, the affable ex-Volkswagen Bug that counts himself among the Transformer's do-goody fold. However, Mustang will be played by Barricade, an evil Decepticon, with the message "To punish and enslave" tattoed on his fender/shoulder. Let’s see who will reign after watching this Camaro vs Mustang battle.
Transformer has a release date of June 29, 2007 in the United Kingdom and Australia, July 2 in New Zealand and July 4 in the United States and Canada.
